Halo ECigs is One of Our Highest Rated EJuice Companies
I’ve been a big fan of Halo Cigs Premium Smoke Juice since I started reviewing their outstanding e-cigarettes and eGo kits. Halo’s 100% pure e-liquids along with their wide variety of ejuice flavors have enjoyed a great reputation among seasoned vapers, but I waited to put out my review until I had tried several of their competitors.
The Halo Company has been around since 2009. That’s as long as our staff has been reviewing ecigarettes.
What impressed me most was not the fact that Halo ejuices are safety tested and 100% pure, (savvy vapers expect that nowdays), but the fact that their eliquids taste fabulous right out of the bottle. Forget waiting days “steeping” your liquid.
While many ejuice companies offer customization features, they don’t always match up to Halo’s true-tasting flavors.
It’s also great that you can get all of Halo’s 22 flavors in prefilled cartridges too.
Halo E-Liquids have a wide selection of Tobacco and Menthol flavors.
There are a whopping 12 flavors of tobacco in all. Tobacco is, in my opinion one of the hardest flavors to duplicate, but Halo’s Tribeca is quite admirable. It also happens to be their best seller, second to Mystic, Halo’s best-selling Menthol. There are 4 menthol flavors in all. Their SubZero is triple strength for those who prefer a truly chilling vape.
Halo’s 6 Gourmet flavors include:
-Kringle’s Curse, which is like vaping a Christmas candy cane,
-Shamrock, which is spot on for mint chocolate chip ice cream
-Belgian Cocoa is truly decadent and in my opinion, more addicting than any level of nicotine.
Also in the Gourmet line up is..
-Twisted Java is mostly coffee with a bit of peppermint, caramel and macadamia nut
-Cafe Mocha is a cappuccino blend with hints of hazelnut and cocoa
-Malibu is a “tropical” blend (my least fave) with the taste of Pina Colada mixed with menthol.
If you’re into fruit flavors, look elsewhere because they’re not in Halo’s flavor line-up. Perhaps it’s because they don’t want you to risk cracking your Clearomizer Tank.
HaloCigs is quite secretive when it comes to disclosing the ratio of Propylene Glycol to Vegetable Glycerine although I would assume it’s about 60/40 which gives you a bit less vapor and a stronger throat hit. That’s not saying the vapor is not voluminous because your vape gives off quite a nice cloud.
Halo Cigs’ bottled E-Liquids offer Nicotine levels that begin at zero and go up to 24mg. Their award-winning e-cigarette model G6 offers cartridges prefilled with eliquids that begin at 6mg and go up to 24mg. Of course you can still add your own Halo ejuice to the cartridges. Just get yourself one of their very handy Needle Point Tweezers. They’re perfect for opening your cartridge and for removing and adjusting the foam.
Right now Halo offers e-liquids in little 7ml bottles and larger, glass 30ml bottles.
I would like to see a 10ml bottle, but right now it’s only 7ml and 30ml. They did include a free sample flavor in a 10ml size as a bonus which arrived with my order.
You can also order a beautifully packaged selection of sample flavors. You get six 7ml bottles for a whopping 42ml of premium e-juice. Halo offers two types of Sample Packs – The Variety Pack and the Gourmet Pack.
Purity and Safety
Halo eliquids are well known for their purity. All ejuices are American Made and all include USP grade ingredients. They’re also FEMA/GRAS approved.
I particularly like the fact that their 7ml ejuices are packaged in PET plastic while the 30ml bottles are glass. (even the dropper is glass).
There’s a child proof twist top lid on the 7ml and the lid on the 30ml bottle is even more difficult to open.
One downside to Halo eliquids is that they keep their PG/VG ratios a secret. That may change in the future if ecig regulations demand greater disclosure.
For E-Liquid DIYers
If you’re into mixing your own eliquids, Halo offers bottles of Fusion ejuice which is their premium unflavored nicotine base e-liquid. It’s also 100% pure, gives you the same great throat hit and vapor production as their standard smoke juice, but allows you to create your own custom flavors and nicotine levels. You can also use it to add nicotine to any of their e-liquids.
They even sell empty PET rated plastic dropper bottles.
