Halo Cigs Vape Pen Starter Kits Review
Halo Cigs has been selling quality vape pens, mods and e-liquids since 2009. That’s quite a record for a family owned and operated company, but lately the company has been experiencing some issues and they are lagging behind other vape companies.
Here’s the Company Mission
I remember testing and reviewing Halo Cigs’ original vape product, the G6 in 2013, not long after they won the “Editor’s Choice Award” from PC Magazine. I’ve updated that review to reflect the new low price, but it still faces a lot of competition.
Halo Cigs actually started out as an e-liquid company. It wasn’t until 2011 that their first successful line of hardware, (the G6) was launched.
A few year later they introduced one the most innovative 2nd generation ecigs of it’s day – the Triton Tank. This basic vape pen is still selling today. If you want to learn more about the Triton, check out this review.
Halo does have an expanding line of e-liquids and hardware, from their high VG line of e-juices to their sub-ohm vaporizers. They even have a page on their site detailing how their high quality e-liquids are made and why they are among the purest you can buy.
This U.S. based company used to manufacture all of its products. In order to stay competitive, they now outsource some of the top Mods from companies like Smok, Vaporesso and Aspire. Aspire’s Gusto and Gusto Mini.
I should note, that Halo is really big on Flash Sales. Since they have so many each week, I wonder whether it’s just a marketing ploy.
For a vape company that has a limited product line, I’m surprised that you still have to pay for shipping if your purchase is under $50. Too many excellent vape companies offer Free Shipping with no minimum.
