Ready to Vape CBD Vape Juices? Here’s What You Need to Know Before You Make a Purchase.
If you vape, you may have heard of CBD vape juice, as it is now being sold on some of the most trusted vaping websites.
I started vaping CBD several months ago and found it to be really helpful in stressful situations, like preparing to travel overseas, or getting over jet lag. I vape it my SMOK X-Priv Baby vaporizer, shown in the title image above. No that’s not me 🙂
This post will give you some basic CBD information, and I’ll recommend some of the purest and tastiest CBD vape juices.
Why is There So Much Interest in CBD?
For decades, CBD was known to treat anxiety, stress, insomnia, pain, inflammation, depression, and other ailments, but it was never fully legalized in the United States. Then, in 2019, the US Farm Bill finally made hemp-derived CBD legal in all 50 states.
Today, CBD products are very popular. CBD does not contain nicotine. It does; however, contain either a CBD Isolate or a Full Spectrum CBD compound. (More on that later!)
CBD is sold as a potentially beneficial compound that is deemed safe to use. Side effects are rare, but possible. For that reason alone, you should talk to your physician before taking CBD, as it may interact with other drugs you are taking.
How Do You Take CBD?
There are many ways to enjoy the benefits of CBD.
- CBD E-liquids can be vaped in any vaporizer or vape pen made for e-juices.
- CBD Tinctures and Concentrates are formulated to be taken under the tongue or mixed into food or drinks. You can; however, add a few drops of tincture into any vape juice.
- There are also many delicious CBD Edibles such as gummies, dried fruits, licorice and capsules.
Vaping CBD will give you one big advantage over other methods of use. The CBD does not have to be digested! The vapor delivers the CBD directly into your lungs.
That means you can feel a response within minutes. You’ll also know whether the amount of CBD content is sufficient for your needs.
What Type of Atomizer coils are best for CBD Vape Juice?
If you are vaping CBD, first make sure you choose only CBD vape juice. Never vape a CBD concentrate oil or tincture on its own, as it will ruin your atomizer coil.
Most CBD vape juices have a proprietary ratio of PG to VG – usually a 50/50 blend. They can vape smoother when you use a coil with high resistance, (over 1.0ohm) rather than a sub ohm coil.
Keep in mind that regular ohm coils don’t receive as much wattage as sub ohm coils. That means you’ll get less vapor. Less vapor means less CBD per puff.
If you use a sub ohm coil for vaping a CBD e-liquid, you will get a more accurate dose of CBD with every puff. That’s a big plus, but there is a downside.
Sub ohm coils use up a lot more liquid, and CBD vape juice can be expensive. If you don’t mind purchasing your CBD e-liquid more frequently, you can certainly use a sub ohm coil.
What Should You Look For When Choosing a High Quality CBD Vape Juice?
Although CBD is legal and the FDA deems CBD to be safe to use, the quality of the CBD can vary, depending on who makes the product.
Here Are Some Important Tips to Follow When Choosing Any CBD Product
- All CBD is made from extracting CBD from the hemp plant, but extraction methods vary. The CO2 Extraction Method guarantees that no harsh chemicals are used in the process. Only the useful cannabinoids are extracted. What you get is pure CBD that is solvent free.
- Not all hemp plants are alike. Some are grown using pesticides or other chemicals, others are grown on organic farms. If you want the purest, All-Natural CBD, choose products from companies who extract the compound from organic hemp plants.
- There is also a difference between a CBD Isolate compound and a Full-Spectrum CBD compound.
All CBD products can legally contain 0.03% THC because that amount will never get you high. Full-Spectrum CBD contains trace amounts of THC.
4. It’s very helpful to understand How Much CBD is in your CBD product. The packaging may say 450mg of CBD, but that is the amount of CBD in the entire bottle. It’s rare, but good company will tell you how much CBD is in each serving.
